The chicken and Beef has ideal levels of protein and fat and is full of essential vitamins and minerals for a strong immune system, lean body mass and healthy joints, coat and eyes. A fully ground meal containing all the essential components of a raw diet. The Essentials formula contains lean meat, ground bone, nutrient rich organs, and two protein sources (all the necessary components of a raw diet) ground together for easy feeding at an exceptionally affordable price. As always only the highest quality, hormone and steroid free meats are used. This formula boasts an ideal protein to fat ratio as well as a calcium to phosphorus ratio of 1.5:1 and 4.4 grams of calcium per 1000 calories making it an excellent choice for all dogs, from healthy adults to large breed puppies.

Ingredients

Ingredients: Ground chicken (45%), lean beef (25%), green tripe (20%), beef organs (10%).

All ingredients are human grade, hormone & steroid free, with the exception of green tripe.

(Green tripe is hormone & steroid free, cold washed from local producers.)

Feeding Instructions

Feed 2-3% of your dog's ideal body weight daily. Feed 2-3% of your puppies expected adult body weight, divided into 2-3 meals daily.

To portion the tubes, leave in fridge for 6-10 hours, cut into desired size and refreeze. 

If fully defrosting, run tube under warm water for 5 secdonds. Cut off plastic, place into sealed container, defrost and feed within 4 days.

Store pet food separately from human food.

The food came with a very short waiting time as always. My dogs both love the chicken and beef formula and it’s very conveniently put in a tube that you can thaw out and use within a few days. One of my dogs developed IVDD two months ago, but since switching his food to Back to Basics, I’ve seen a dramatic improvement in all aspects. He’s walking much better, his bowel movement are more normal and he is just overall happier eating a more nutrient dense meal. thank you so much everyone for helping us and our baby puppies out 🥰
